Chants

While preparing for a lesson I always think of the ways to motivate my students and to help them learn the material easily. These are my own chants which I suppose can help you! 

P.S. Don't judge too strictly!

1. WEATHER

 Мета: вивчити лексичний матеріал з теми "Погода",
практикуватися у вживанні структури "It is sunny",
 "What is the weather like today?".
Виконуємо з рухами, які імітують сонечко, сніг, вітер.

What is the weather like today?
What is the weather like today?
It is sunny, it is hot,
it is windy, it is cold.
(It is sunny, it is snowy,
it is windy, it is frosty.)
That is the weather like today!

2. MY FAVOURITE SEASON

 Мета: вивчити лексичний матеріал з теми 
"Моя улюблена пора року",
практикуватися у вживанні  Present Simple , 
структур "It is sunny", "I can", "I like".

My favourite season is summer!
My favourite season is summer!
It is sunny, It is hot.
I can swim. I can play Sport.
I like summer very much!
I like summer very much!

3. SPRING

Мета: вивчити лексичний матеріал з теми "Погода. Весна",
практикуватися у вживанні  Present Continious .

It is usually sunny and warm in spring.
It is usually sunny and warm in spring.
The wind is blowing.
The birds are singing.
I like  spring very much!
The wind is blowing.
The birds are singing.
I like  spring very much!

4. I GO TO SCHOOL

(На мотив "В траве сидел кузнечик".)
Мета: вивчити лексичний матеріал з теми "Дні тижня", практикуватися у
вживанні структури у Present Simple "I go ...", а також у вживанні
прийменника ON з днями тижня.
Виконуємо з рухами - крокуємо, а потім зазиваємо всіх до школи.
Можна замість робочого дня тижня називати вихідний. Тоді діти повинні заперечити "NO"!
А ще можна варіювати, використовуючи структуру "He\She goes ...".

5. WHERE IS TOBBY?

Мета: закріпити вживання структури "Where is...?", прийменників місця in, on, under. Виконуємо разом з іграшками - співаємо і шукаємо іграшки, потім знаходимо і радіємо.
